This week in science we finished up our expiriments and handed in our labs. I feel I did fairly well on my lab. Although, doing volume was a very hard expirment to conduct. We learned that volume doesn't effect the size of a crater hole. But, we relized that maybe volume may effect the spray. Towards the end of the week we started chemestry. We really didn't get into it all yet but we went over the constuction of atoms and learned about conductors.

Week of May 23
Due to computer issues this post is a little late. This week in school we had our solar sprints for science club. My group won (Thanks to Nick P.) 2ND place for best portfolio. But the four days before we work on our lab reports. My group got volume. It is very hard to make a volume experiment without changing mass. So, Mr. Finley gave us the idea to test both. So, now we are testing volume and mass. On Tuesday we will start our experiment.

Week of May 15th
This week we learned more about circular motion. On Monday we learn what causes circular motion. Tuesday we finished up on our presentations. Matt, Brett, and I investigated weather the amount of holes affected how the filter paper falls. After doing the experiment we found that the more holes a filter has, the faster falls. On Wednesday we presented our projects to the class. We did a very good job on ours. Then on Friday we had a quiz which was really easy.

Week of May 10th
This week in science we worked on why the moon revolves around the earth. We learned that it was put in motion by something in space. Also we learned that the moon always wants to go straight away and the earth pulls it to go to the center of the earth. So, the moon moves in between the two directions. It does it in whatever position the moon is, it forces it to go in a circle. Near Friday we did a lot more on forces. Also, we learned that when objects fall they fall at a rate that constantly increases. We also learned that all objects fall at the same speed, with no air pressure.
